The team brainstorms ideas on how to perform the different tasks of each year's challenge. Many different ideas are proposed, discussed, and then transformed during this period, until the best combination of ideas is found.
Designing is the next phase of the process. The team begins to plan out the technical aspects of the ideas from the brainstorming phase.
The prototyping phase allows the ideas to be brought to physical reality. Models are created out of generic Actobotics parts to test the concepts in the real world before attaching them to the robot.
